Build Real AI Skills.
At Your Own Pace.
Structured programmes in mathematics, model building and applied AI — designed for working professionals in Malaysia.
What We Offer
Three focused programmes, each with a clear scope and a defined set of deliverables. No vague outcomes — just specific skills practised and artefacts produced.
7 Weeks · 6 hrs/week
Mathematics for Machine Learning Refresher
Covers linear algebra as used in modelling, calculus for gradients, probability and distributions, expectation and variance, and enough optimisation theory to understand training behaviour. Every concept is paired with a short notebook.
- 14 live sessions + weekly problem sets
- Notation reference sheet included
- Dedicated study channel
- Completion record issued
13 Weeks · 9–11 hrs/week
Model Building Studio
Learners build four models of increasing ambition under weekly critique. The emphasis is on judgement: choosing an approach that fits the data, designing evaluations that could fail, diagnosing training problems, and knowing when to stop. Each week ends with a public critique session.
- 26 sessions + GPU credits
- Four model critiques
- Mentor pairing included
- Portfolio review at close
10 Months · 12 hrs/week
Portfolio and Practice Programme
A part-time programme combining technical modules across data engineering, modelling and deployment with three portfolio projects — each documented to a standard a reviewer can follow. Includes practical sessions on technical writing, code review etiquette, whiteboard practice and interview preparation.
- Weekly sessions + cloud credits
- Three project reviews + mentoring
- Interview practice workshops
- Final portfolio assessment + reference
What Makes the Difference
Artefact-Driven Learning
Every programme ends with tangible output: notebooks, model decision logs, portfolio projects, and written references — not just completion certificates.
Open Critique Culture
Work is discussed publicly and kindly. Learners hear what reviewers actually think, which builds the judgement that private feedback rarely develops.
Designed for Working Hours
Commitment ranges from six to twelve hours a week across programmes. Sessions are scheduled with Malaysian working hours in mind, not US or European time zones.
Mentor Pairing
Studio and portfolio learners are paired with a practitioner mentor. The relationship is structured around specific checkpoints, not open-ended office hours.
Cloud Resources Included
GPU credits and cloud access are part of the programme fee at studio and portfolio level. You work on real infrastructure from the first session.
Honest Outcome Descriptions
Outcomes are described in terms of skills practised and artefacts produced. No employment promises, no income claims — just a clear record of what you built and how.

Frequently Asked
Do I need a machine learning background to join the Maths Refresher?
The refresher is aimed at people who can already write code but find the notation in research papers slows them down. You don't need prior ML experience — just comfort with programming and some memory of school-level mathematics.
What does a "critique session" involve in the Model Building Studio?
Each week, learners share their work in progress with the group. A facilitator walks through the decisions made, asks questions about the evaluation design, and the group responds. The tone is direct but constructive — the goal is to surface blind spots, not to rank work against each other.
Are sessions recorded if I miss a live call?
Yes, all live sessions are recorded and made available to enrolled learners within 24 hours. We still encourage attending live where possible because the discussion after each session is where a lot of the thinking happens.
What do the GPU credits in the Studio and Portfolio programmes cover?
Credits are allocated per programme and sized to cover the training runs expected within the curriculum. They are provided through a cloud platform account set up at enrolment. Heavy personal experimentation outside assignments may exhaust them faster.
How is the Portfolio and Practice Programme different from a standard online course?
It is structured around three projects you build and document yourself, with a final assessment and a written reference summarising the work completed. The emphasis throughout is on what you can show, not what you can recall under test conditions.
Is payment made in full upfront or are instalments available?
Payment terms vary by programme. Reach out via the contact form or call us and we can discuss what works for your situation. We do ask for confirmation before a cohort seat is reserved.
Is my personal information kept private?
We collect only what we need to manage your enrolment and communicate about your programme. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
